“I’m Barry Allen” – The CW Releases New Clip For This Week’s Arrow

I love Arrow.

It treats lesser Batman characters with the care they deserve: Deathstroke and Deadshot.

It has some other DC characters that have not really been treated in other adaptations: Count Vertigo and Dark Archer, not to mention, Black Cat.

It furthermore it really gives the Green Arrow his due. Simon Amstell does a great job.

Comics naturally make sense as a series. They make far more sense then movies.

And now, Barry Allen.

“I’m Barry Allen.” Words that fans of Arrow have been waiting to hear since the news was announced that The Flash would be making his way to The CW.

The CW has released a new promotional clip for this Wednesday’s episode titled “The Scientist”. This episode marks the first time we meet Barry Allen from the Central City police dept crime scene investigation unit, following a break in at Queens Consolidated.

Grant Gustin is taking on the role of The Flash. Although the original idea was for his Flash to appear in three episodes this season, with one of them serving as a back door pilot to the spin off, cuts of Gustin’s episodes have been so well received that The CW has decided that The Flash is worthy of its own standalone pilot.

Arrow airs Wednesday nights on The CW at 8/7c
