Batkid Hits The Streets Saving San Francisco

By now we’ve all heard about Batkid. But read this wonderful breakdown of the marvellous adventures.

Move over Batman, America has a new superhero to rally behind. He’s more than half the size, twice as cute, and his name is Batkid.

Behind the pint-sized bat-mask is Miles Scott, a 5-year-old boy from Northern California who has been in a long-running battle with leukaemia. A fan of Batman, Miles always wanted to spend the day as the Caped Crusader. With the help of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, he got a full day of action-packed adventures.

Thousands of people in the city of San Francisco came out on November 15 to support Batkid as he swept the city to keep it crime-free.

Part of his support came straight from Washington, D.C. where The White House’s Twitter account posted,
